As we (hopefully) near the end of the COVID pandemic, we must not let our guard down. Wouldn’t it be awful after all these months of being safe to get severely ill from COVID during the final months of this pandemic?
A recent CDC study showed that 60% of the new cases of COVID were transmitted by asymptomatic people who didn’t even know they were infected. For many this simply means a minor cold/flu, but for others, especially those in high risk groups, it could mean hospitalization or death.
It is essential that we all continue to wear masks and social distance to prevent further spread and un-necessary pain, suffering and lengthening of the pandemic. Even if already vaccinated—this still applies to you!
